This site is a final assessment piece for an unit long project.
The Brief

For this inquiry project you are asked to find a product you need or like; this can be an existing product or one you want to design from scratch (e.g. a web app). The task is then to find out what materials and machinery are required for the production of the product.
All this information and the questions asked are to be mapped using a mind-map to keep ideas, questions, and answers organised. These plans are to be constantly updated with new information gathered.
You need to find out how your product is or will be produced. During this search, which is mainly conducted online (library may also be of use), different media are to be gathered for an online multi-media presentation which will take the form of a web page or site. You will need to pay careful attention to attribute your resources on a separate page of your web based presentation referencing all all your sources.
Next, you have to come up with with the elements of a business plan. This includes an estimate of the costs involved, how to finance the project, and then how to market it. For ideas you are to recall prior lessons and build upon that knowledge with further web searches if needed.
Once the resources and information have been gathered, you are to create a multi-media web page or site documenting your work.
The challenge in this whole endeavour is to make the product from as many ready-made products as possible to minimise the production time and effort. This is especially important as the final product of this inquiry project (the website) will need to be completed by the end of the term.
